The last year has been tough. We never could have predicted the things that have happened. We all have our own stories of the things we’ve experienced during the pandemic – stories of isolation, grief, anxiety, and uncertainty. But we are not without hope.
Where are you finding your hope?
We believe in a God who is always with each one of us – a God who loves us and holds us throughout our lives. That doesn’t mean that things aren’t hard – but we know we are not alone in the things we face. God journeys with us through all the ups and downs of life.
Watch the #GodIsWithUs video below which was produced for Christmas 2020.
During December 2020, in the run-up to Christmas, we shared a daily story about an individual’s journey through the pandemic. These stories include people who have felt the painful effects of isolation, who have experienced insecurity, who have struggled with poor mental health, who have lost loved ones – like so many millions of others.
But ultimately, incredibly, God’s loving presence offers them powerful hope. Find out how by reading the stories below:
You can submit your own story - either as a video, audio or text - to feature publicly in our online collection of stories called The Story Project here:
Sharing our stories or telling others about things that have happened in our lives is a powerful way to connect with others. All the stories you read here have been shared by each individual in the hope that something in their story will be relatable for others. However, speaking of our experiences can sometimes be upsetting, for us or for others. If you feel you need to speak to somebody, or you need other help, we encourage you to use the links on our 'need help' page which take you a range of expert support services.
